The New Jersey Meadowlands Commission will hold two public hearings in South Bergen communities to allow the public to comment on amendments to the Kingsland Redevelopment Plan. The Kingsland Redevelopment Plan proposes a mix of land uses including industrial, commercial, hotel, office, restaurant, retail and environmental enhancement.
The first meeting will be held on Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., at Rutherford Borough Hall on Park Avenue. The second meeting will be held the following night, Dec. 8, at Lyndhurst Town Hall on Valley Brook Avenue.
The redevelopment plan, if adopted, would supersede the former Meadowlands Golf Course Redevelopment Plan, which was adopted in 2001.
